I ordered this ticking material to make curtains and various other items for my sewing room. It is the exact weight/thickness needed to deflect the evening sun coming through the west window. While the stripes are not as red as I thought they would be, the subtlety turned out to be perfect. Really like it. Sewed smoothly too!
