The cabinet itself is okay. Pretty cheap but that's what I expected. It was dealing with Wayfair as a whole that made me take the time to write this review. I ordered this item in July. It is now October when I received this item. The first one was in limbo for a couple of months. When I reached out to customer service they said it "had been lost" and offered to send another at no charge. Of course I had planned around this delivery date so was upset to have to wait another couple of months. Initially they said they could not offer a discount since their system only allows "1 resolution per order". My counter, naturally, was that this wasn't a resolution for me but rather a resolution for them. Had I known I would have to wait 4 months I would never have ordered from Wayfair. This impacted my ability to do business as I needed this cabinet. After a long back and forth they gave me a small discount and resent the item. Since this is a big item and I would be out of town I was concerned about the delivery date and asked if I could change it. I was assured that it would be delivered to a carrier whom would later contact me for a delivery date. They said the automated emails were not quite true as this only reflected the delivery to the carrier. Now Oct 8th I received the automated email saying it would be delivered the following day. There was an option in that email to schedule delivery date. Following that link led me through a maze of Wayfairs website and finally landed me on a chat with customer service again. I wanted to make sure this wasn't the actual delivery to my door - since I was still out on deployment. They assured me this was one of their automated messages and that I would have an opportunity to schedule the delivery. The following day I got a picture from my neighbor saying there was a huge package by my front door, blocking the entrance to my house. Mind you I live in a downtown area so the theft risk is very high. I have been able to get this item moved but only thanks to very supportive friends back home. Never ever ordering from Wayfair again and I will most definitely share my experience by word to mouth to do make sure others in my circle do not order from them. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had ordering something online. To add salt to the wound - Wayfairs cview your order" page and website has an incredible way of looping you around and around without any meaningful progress. Their links to do this and that just keep taking you back to where you started. The chat representatives also sound like AI and have that constant tone of trying to please yet have no power to do anything meaningful.
