Great can. Nice lid … momentarily. Quickly stops staying down, unless it’s locked. And now, after a couple short months, the locking mechanism is totally broken off. It will never stay closed now….

I have 2 very large, smart and determined dogs. One of them particulary likes to "repurpose resources" . These locking wastebaskets allow me to have my recycling storage in a convenient spot in my kitchen. They have yet to breech the locking top!

I like it very much but the touch top does not stay down.
