These were sent with a single page, poorly illustrated instructions. Double ratchet strapped to my car along with ropes given- rack came loose and my kayak fell off the top of my car.

Overall for the price these worked out great. Setup was easy fit my oval factory Toyota Sequoia bars. Kit comes with 4 straps they are good enough for around town. Not sure if I would trust them on the highway I will probably upgrade the straps. Picked up another kayak so I’m planning on ordering another set of these.

The least expensive kayak rack I’ve been able to find, by far!
