I thought I could install this freestanding instead of hanging on the wall but it is not made for that. It really was not clearly stated in the description that it would be wall mount only. Be aware the whole back is open and is wobbly when not secured to the wall. However, I needed a specific width and wanted 4 drawers, so decided to keep it and modify it for my needs. I purchased feet to raise it off the floor and a thin board to line the back of the drawers. I then screwed the top shelf piece to the bottom drawers and secured the whole armoire to the wall. It worked well and is now stable.

Very difficult to install keep in mind that the side can’t be against the wall because you won’t be able to install the drawers once you hang it on the wall unless you’re not hanging it. And you can install the drawers before you hang it.

Definitely check out the size before buying it if it fits what you need. The size of the drawer is small from what I wanted it but it’s doable. Easy to put together

Love the flexibility of these modular systems. Created the perfect storage solutions for a new walk-in closet. My contractor built and installed and used molding to secure to wall. Drawers are on the smaller side from depth, but works well for what i needed. See hand pic. I used the open shelving on top.

Extremely happy with this product. Looks like a professional product and works very well. The assembly and installation was very easy but you do need two people to balance and level the shelves. Highly recommend.
