I’ve been using the 1.05 Gallons Indoor Kitchen Composter by Vego Garden for a while now, and it’s been a great addition to my kitchen. It’s compact enough to sit neatly on the counter without taking up much space, and the design is clean and modern—definitely doesn’t look like a compost bin. What impressed me most is how quiet it is during operation. Even when running a full cycle, it doesn’t disrupt the kitchen at all. It handles everyday food scraps (vegetable peels, leftovers, coffee grounds, etc.) really well and reduces them to dry, odor-free material that’s easy to dispose of or add to outdoor compost or soil. Odor control is excellent—the carbon filter does its job, and there’s no lingering smell, even after frequent use. Cleaning is also straightforward, which makes it easy to stick with composting consistently. Overall, this is a well-designed, user-friendly composter that makes kitchen waste management simple and mess-free. A great choice for anyone living in an apartment or wanting an easy way to reduce food waste at home.

I love being able to make compost any time of the year! The Composter works quickly and I love how my kitchen smells as it works.

Do not buy this! It’s junk that only works when it wants to. I have owned this machine less than 30 days and I’ve had nothing but trouble with it. It keeps saying the bucket isn’t aligned inside. But it is aligned. Inserted properly and clean. I’ve done all of the troubleshooting instructions and it still will not work. I’ve successfully been able to complete a Vego cycle twice. That’s it. Not worth the money.
