It was easy to assemble, and I lined the bottom with the cardboard box it came in before immediately starting to fill it. . a simple way to help suppress weeds and invite worms while the cardboard breaks down naturally. One thing to know is that it's heavy! I recommend deciding where you want it before putting it together because it's not something you'll want to move afterward. The heavy-duty construction feels like it will outlast every wooden compost bin I've owned, which eventually succumbed to rot and weather. My only complaint is the price. I wish it were a bit more affordable. That said, the quality and durability make it feel like a worthwhile long-term investment.

I had a homemade system made out of pallets but they were too big for good turnover, hard to manage and didnt look great. This system solved it all! At first I thought they would be too small but they are just the right size. They actually do hold a lot are easier to work with and the piles turn over quickly. Plus they will not have to be replaced due to rotting wood.

This compost bin is sturdy and very clean looking in the yard! I like the way it’s designed to take off the bottom layers in the bin for easier access to soil/compost. Definitely glad I made this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High quality metal and a perfect size for my suburban yard. We had three large cedar compost bins when we owned acreage and they fell apart after two years so we decided to invest in this when we moved and it was worth it.

A big upgrade from my DIY cedar plank setup. Perfect size for leaves and grass clippings in the corner of our yard. Thinking of getting a 2nd for litter from our chicken coop (pine shavings break down slower than the yard waste).
