While this deck box is described on the Wayfair website as “fully assembled,” that is not, in fact, the case. The ill-fitting dowel and hole construction leaves big gaps that do not cinch together when the screws are fully secured. The wood has many splits and imperfections which appear to have been glued back together in the “factory.” To top it all off, I did not receive all of the required hardware to secure the top. For the price, this deck box is a poor value and will frustrate you, like it did me.
