They look great! We stained them Early American for our bedroom and Carbon Gray for the guest room.

Perfect for what I needed. I did stain it because I was afraid the raw wood wouldn't hold up. I also didn't find the pre-drilled holes helpful -- one needs to center this in the room or over whatever furniture exists where it hangs. The pre-drilled holes were not in the right place. Still, it's lovely.
