They only provide 24 inch attachment plates for the ceiling. Most joist are spaced 18 in so if you want to put all three screws provided you need to provide a 36 inch attachment plate so you can screw to three different joists.

It’s a good product, sturdy, easy to assemble, definitely it’s at least a two person job to install. Fit a good amount of stuff. I’ll get another two so we can fit most of our stuff and the garage looks cleaner.

Very nice and good quality storage racks. Fit our garage space well. I am a little concerned about the 600lb weight capacity. Not sure it can handle that much but fits my needs

Overall, a good shelf. I like that it is adjustable, which helped in our garage. A little cumbersome to hang for my husband but works well.
