The color was lighter than pictured (which actually ended up working for us). However after it was installed, I found out it doesn’t hold up to a basic wet cloth wipe down. The color was taken off of the area I had used a wet cloth on. Since I had bought this for my bathroom, I have concerns with how it will hold up over time as well. I am likely going to have to find some similar color paint and have to paint it (which I could have found a cheaper white shelf option if I had known I would have to repaint it anyway).
