I really don’t know how to review this, it wasn’t really what I expected. It looks like treated asbestos or something like that. Very small pieces and a very tiny bag. I didn’t find any directions with it, so I’m going to have to ask my fireplace guy when I have them install an instant on switch to my gas log set. I will update my review when I get that done. UPDATE: I finally had my new gas logs installed and they came with the fake embers. They looked pretty much like the product I received from Wayfair, so I just placed them randomly over the embers that came with the log set. The first fire picture below is without and the second picture is with the Platinum Bright Embers and you can really see the difference! They give off a bright platinum glow and I love it. Worth the extra investment to make a fake fire look that much more realistic.

I’m not quite sure about these embers. I live in Southern California, so I have not had a chance to try them out as the weather has been too beautiful.. It should be interesting from reviews that makes the fire sparkle beautiful colors so hopefully one of these days I can try them.

Well if I recall other reviewers commented on how small the bag was and they were correct. Banana for scale. I’m not sure how this tiny bag of product is supposed to make a difference in a regular sized fire place. Kind of ridiculous.

Not sure what I was expecting when I ordered this, but I definitely didn’t think the bag was the small. Haven’t used them yet in a fire. I’m excited to use them though and see how bright the fire can actually be.

I wanted embers that would burn brighter in my gas fireplace and these work great! The embers are a nice, square size that can be easily broken down to fit into crevasses in the logs. I used all I needed and still have a lot left over.
