Update finally had an electrician run a 220v line, and I decided to just have a professional do the install (he charged me less since it was already pre-charged and it was a DIY model). It looks GREAT, and it functions perfectly (except the diffuser position and swing function does not work. Unfortunately its already past 30.days, so I need to think of a way to get it fixed (hopefully Wayfair can help with contacting the manufacturer). Its also cools my garage very well (now to properly insullate my garage. I chose the AC Heating System, DIY Friendly 12900 BTU Mini-Split by Albott to be keep my garage cooled for the summer. It arrived safely in two boxes. It comes with both the condenser unit, indoor air handler, remote control, and pre-charged connections. It requires a 15anp 220 volt electrical connection but is also available in 115 volt. Im still awaiting to have an electrician come to install a new 220v outdoor connector, and I also decided to have a professional also install the unit - in spite of it being DIY. Ill update as soon as the happens.

Nice air conditioner! Shipped fast in two boxes. Ac220 needs a dedicated tandem breaker. Easy install clear directions. Inside unit is light and manageable. Outdoor unit is heavier and i bought a separate plastic mounting pad for it. Overall good! The only downside is that it comes with 12 foot hoses and you cannot add an extension hose to it, so the condenser needs to be literally on the outside wall of the inside unit.

This arrived quickly and well packaged. This unit didn’t come with brackets for the outside unit for some reason. We have to mount it higher up than expected. Those have been ordered and unfortunately delayed due to the fires. It says next week it will arrive. If it’s past 722 they said to contact customer service and they will send me another set of brackets expedited this time. The directions are very well written. I don’t expect us to have any trouble with the install and wiring. I will update once we received the brackets and can get it installed. The one thing we do now before installing these is put an in-line breaker in so when the power company turns up the sensitivity on the lines and we have power surges it doesn’t kill the unit

This mini split ac heating unit seems to be heavy enough to do the job. It’s nice looking, however, I’m afraid it’s not as diy as I was hoping. I was trying to find a solution for cooling our garage without breaking the bank, but it looks like we’ll have to hire someone to install it. Other than installation, I’d recommend.

This is a sleek nice looking unit, not like one of those big bulky awkward ones. Install is DIYable, my husband did it but its def like intermediate-advance skill level. You have to make a hole in the exterior wall to connect the units. There are 2 pieces one is mounted inside and the other one outside.
