[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You will need American Standard’s Mainstream Drain Kit (1699500.020), to complete the installation of the Mainstream 60x32 six jet Whirlpool Drop-In tub. This kit has everything you need! There is a convenient toe tapper drain, allowing you to easily toggle between filling, and draining, your tub. I like the heavy duty feel of this drain plug. It can definitely withstand normal use over it’s lifetime. It is white, and matches the tub perfectly! The overflow tubes easily connect to one another, via the included slip joint nut. The slip joint nuts have a threaded construction. Every piece of this kit is well constructed, and made for easy installation.

The installation was not difficult and I didn't need any special tools, just the ones I already have. I was a little concerned about the pipes not being metal, but the pvc or plastic material is doing a good job. Love my finished project-- it's a great & relaxing experience soaking in my new jacuzzi tub.
