This is maybe my bad, but the person at wayfair that helped me place the order also made the same mistake. Due to the picture of a complete toilet and the schematic of the whole thing and the install directions of the whole thing we thought it WAS the whole toilet. It is not. THE DESCRIPTION NEEDS TO SAY "BOWL ONLY". and the personel needs to know what it is also.

This toilet is for a back outlet application and was exactly what we needed for a basement bathroom! Pricing was the best I could find anywhere.

It was great, but wasn't very clear that there was no tank. Other than that it was great!

A floor mounted, rear discharge toilet is a perfect option for installing in a location where installing a floor flange and waste drain, is not possible or prohibitively costly. The toilet is well designed and of excellent quality. The challenge is finding the appropriate gasket. Closed cell foam gaskets are typically 3/4” in thickness, which will not work, based on the specific installation instructions. A 1” gasket is needed. Master Plumber makes a product called Tight Seal which is a very sticky and mailable silicone like product that can be compressed up to 50%. Stacking a 3/4” and 1/4” version of these gaskets it what I ended up using. They are very resilient, and are impervious to water. It’s too bad that American Standard don’t include the gasket, as this application is unique to ensure a reliable seal.
