The ends with the ribbed texture aren't just decorative, they also make easier to hold the handle. But the only thing that does not like me it is that is to heavy.

I need something to add onto my sliding barn door to make it easier to open and this was perfect. The handle feels very sturdy and I know it will last forever. I really loved the satin finish which makes the color stand out even more.
