IF YOU ARE IN CANADA DO NOT BUY THIS FROM WAYFAIR. Their ad says you have a 5 year limited warranty but they will NOT honor the warranty beyond 1 year. Ours started leaking about 11 months in, Aquasure had provided us instructions on how to troubleshoot but finally wanted to send us replacement parts. Wayfair REFUSED to help. Aquasure does not ship to Canada but made us whole by direct shipping the parts to us. Aquasure is great! Wayfair, not so much.

So far it has been extremely effective on our hard water problems the incoming water from the well is about 75 grains ( very hard) and after the water softener it is at 2 grains. Very easy to install and I believe the water meter regeneration will save on salt as our old water softener regenerated every other day regardless of needing regeneration or not . We also purchased the UV light and hoping that it will eliminate the odor causing bacteria that we have had in the past in the hot water heater. We have treated the hot water heater with peroxide and hoping the UV light will eliminate that problem. Overall it is working extremely well so 5 stars on this purchase üëç
