Works great, but if no stud, do as the picture shows, install a wood suport against studs and then the rail. This is just for 3 steps, great when you reach a certain age.

Very happy with the look and quality of this handrail. We bought the 24 inch one which is the perfect length for our use. You will however need to buy the concrete screws if installing it on an outside concrete wall. You will need to drill the steal screws provided through to the handrail to attach the piece that goes to the wall. They should send it already attached. They should also provide concrete screws to avoid a trip to the hardware store.
