This definitely has to be the easiest trim project I have ever done. No sanding and measuring of multiple pieces and cuts. A level and construction adhesive is all it took! I do wish the kit came with a couple extra long boards for when you don’t have one continuous run. I did have to purchase an additional board from the big box shop to avoid having to get a whole other set of these. Very easy overall and definitely recommend for a quick project with big impact.

These panels don’t easily line up and there’s some overlapping which will make them more complicated to install. I was looking forward to them fitting perfectly on a wall in our powder room but will have to cut multiple pieces to make them all fit equally.

I’m redoing our foyer and hallway myself and I didn’t want to have to use the saw to make cuts so this kit was the perfect solution. I used a nail gun to put them up but you could also use construction adhesive and cut down on your tool needs even more.

I haven’t put the batting panel up yet, but it seems pretty simple to put up includes instructions and also note that it does not come paint it. You have to paint. It says MDF board, but the quality of the wood seems really great.

This kit was so easy to work with. I was able to cut pieces with my miter saw. All I had to use was liquid nail and tape to hold each piece in place. This is also something I was able to do solo. I highly recommend this kit for a do-it-yourself project.
