The fixture build is solid, and the parts came packed in cloth sleeves to protect them from scratches. However, the hoses run through the entire base from the valve to the bottom, and out, with only 2” exposed. This is a design error. Connections accessible at the base would be significantly better. Even a little more length would have been a big improvement. Due to a water source issue, I needed to remove and reattach the hoses, but the hoses being short and of low quality, especially the swivels that mostly “didn’t”, resulted in the hotcold hoses twisting individually, and then the hot and cold twisting together. It isn’t apparent at first because almost no portion of the hoses are visible. One hose broke at the swivel connection at the top. Getting these out again was very problematic because you are trying not to damage the finish. I contacted the distributor to buy replacement hoses, but they do not carry them. They also have no information on what the connection specs are. I contacted Wayfair who also tried to get the spec data, and they couldn’t get any more information than me. The distributor was less than helpful, and actually rude. I made a trip to Ferguson plumbing with the hoses, but they had nothing that would work, and told me that the hoses are often bespoke. After lots of measuring and evaluating, I was able to determine that the ends which connect inside the tube are just metric connections (which makes sense being that the mfr is in Italy). They are metric on one end and SAE on the other. Lots of searching and I was able to buy hoses from Alibaba. The hoses were quite inexpensive, and yet a much better build than those which came with it. Additionally, after a period of time, the fixture began to leak at the junction of the valve and spout. I replaced the O-ring, but that was ineffective. It turns out that the leak was coming through the threads, the connection could not be tightened further (no more threads - hit the limit). The only way I was able to resolve this was to use plumbing paste with fibers to coat the threads sufficiently to stop water bleeding through. This fixture fulfills its purpose (we needed a very long spout) but I would definitely NOT recommend it to anyone.
