This is a beautiful tile, however I fell in love with it in its 'ungrouted' state, which shows a very defined pattern. When we went to grout it with a dark grout to show off all of the little round, square and triangular pieces in the design, the dark grout became embedded in the porous beige even though we had sealed the tile before hand. The only option was to go with a light grout, which blurred the design of the tile. See attached photos- in the finished state, this tile is quite boring and not worth the money.

Using the black Solis marble tile as a “rug” under a double slipper tub in front of large windows in my primary bathroom remodel. Can’t wait to see it installed.
