This surround was relatively easy to put together and included plenty of glue. The optional shelves are a great benefit, allowing you to place them where they make sense in your installation (the studs and plumbing in my wall only allowed for a small width where the recessed shelf would fit, but you have free reign to cut and install). The walls are a sturdy material with nice trim to finish the installation with a great look (and hide minor imperfections).
