I purchased this to use for an outdoor shower. It is a heavy and very nice quality fixture. Very pleased. The only issue was finding how to turn on the hand held sprayer. There is a handle to switch between the overhead and spicket, but it does not operate the sprayer. You have to turn the spicket to the side to turn on the handheld. My rental guest will never figure this out rendering it useless,

I got this for an interior tub shower bathroom. It does not require a mixer valve, so don't get one. Although it extends somewhat, make sure to give your contractor the final height you want it at before the plumbing is finalized. In our case, it could have been mounted a bit higher. A very well made product nonetheless.
