We ordered one sq.ft. Of these green tiles 2 months ago and the white ones came. We called Wayfair and the lady was super helpfuk. After weeks of waiting, the correct items cane. It was worth the wait! These tiles are beautiful! The green color was perfect for our project- fireplace renovation. It has just the right amount of variation and the cracklings on it was subtle. It is high gloss which is what we are looking for.

My impressions of this product are decidedly mixed. The color and finish are very attractive and very consistent from tile to tile and box to box. The packaging was good, with zero breakage in the five boxes I unpacked and installed. The tile is not solid ceramic, it is produced in some kind of folding process resulting in substantial air voids within each tile. These voids perforate the edges slightly on most tiles. Generally this is of no consequence, as it will be hidden by grout, but I did find a few that were unusable. The air void issue becomes much greater when you try to cut it. I had good results cutting straight lines with an abrasive saw, but drilling openings for plumbing proved highly problematic. I found these tended to shatter unpredictably under a tile carbide drill blade. The back of the tile is totally smooth, there is no in-molded texture to assist with grip to the thinset. They did not match the sample tile we had ordered, which did have a texture, as well as a nice concave chamfered lip to catch extra thinset. The sample does appear to have voids in it, but exhibits no perforation of the edges to the interior air voids whatsoever. The customer evaluated only the surface of the purchased product against the sample, inspected for breakage, and approved it before handing it off to me, the installer. Had we noticed this deviation on receipt, we would have returned these for sure. The quality of the product I installed was substantially lower than the quality of the sample tile received. Additionally the tiles aren’t rectangular. Every edge is ever-so-slightly off square. This appears to be normal manufacturing variation, or perhaps is even designed into the tile. Every tile in all five boxes was like that, some more than others. It’s subtle, maybe 1 or 2º at worst, but it’s enough that if you hold a square up to the edge, you can see it visually. As a result, you cannot install these by squaring each tile off the last using spacers. I set a self-leveling line laser to follow for each course, spacing the tiles visually. This technique achieved an acceptable result, if a bit more “rustic” than what I originally set out to achieve. If you are seeking a hand-made look and are using reasonably large grout lines, these might be fine. However, for most applications, subway tiles that are not square are highly problematic; I have never encountered that in a factory-made tile. The air voids are another significant manufacturing deficiency. Besides making them hard to cut, the uneven voids add significant variation in how rugged each tile is– there are places on some of these where they are paper-thin. The fact that the sample is substantially nicer than the product that was purchased is quite the trespass. Best case scenario, the vendor outsourced or otherwise modified the production to cut corners, and we got unlucky and got a sample from one batch and product from a later, inferior batch. Worst case, this vendor is sending nicer product as samples than they are selling. Either way, this isn't good. I am satisfied with my end result but I would never buy anything from this vendor again, there are serious quality and communication issues here.

I was extremely skeptical, but they turned out great! I had some concerns that they wouldn't be true to the color, but they are definitely green. They also have an almost iridescent sheen- not in a tacky way, just enough to give them some character. My only major complaint is that they were difficult to cut. They kept shattering, and I ended up having to order an extra box. I used a grey grout in order not to take away from or add too much to the whitish border, and it turned out lovely. Pics to come!

Color:Blanco
This is a nice tile, but the blanco really has a surprising greenminty undertone, which unfortunately clashes with the rest of our kitchen, which is warmer.
