It works great for our family as we usually use BIG bread. Have used the bit more feature & toasts hot dog & hamburger buns perfectly on rhe lowest setting

Not as good as the exact model purchased years ago. Disappointing toasting evenness

I ordered this to solve a problem with my previous toaster. It would burn the ends and leave the middle much less toasted. I had high hopes based on the price point. I was let down. I’m having the exact same problem with burnt ends on longer slices of toast. Something that strikes me as odd about this toaster is that there is no heating element in the middle. Why leave an inch and a half of space with no way to toast the middle? It is a long slot toaster … I thought that was so I could toast slices from a boule of sourdough. No, you can toast 4 pieces of regular bread. The machine looks great and feels solid. It also has the most beefed up power cord I’ve ever seen on a kitchen appliance. It could just use “a bit more” fine tuning. Definitely having buyer’s remorse. You can get the same performance from toasters that cost half as much.

Not completely happy with the way our toast is well done around the edges and only lightly toasted in the center. Very uneven toasting. Item looks great and I like the controls. But, at the end of the day, it doesn’t toast evenly.

I enjoyed the toaster until the center heating element failed after 18 months. The center element only toasts on high when toasting on bagel setting otherwise it only has a low glow for regular toasting. One side is toasted the other is not. It must be an issue with the controller. I have seen other reviews with similar issues.
