The doors turned out great.
These were the Unfinished doors after Ive stained them dark walnut and installed handles from the hardware store.
To say these doors are easy to put together, or install is a bit of a stretch. The doors come as a bunch of pre cut lumber in a box. You follow the pictures only assembly instructions. A bit of skill needs to be employed so the doors are straight and square. They tell you you need long bar clamps , which I had, to put these together. The planks are toung and groove, and you need several drill bits to install the hardware.
The included double tracks mount holes (( WILL NOT )) line up with your existing studs in the walls unless you are the luckiest person in the world. Having two doors insures that! After I had to Hacksaw the rails to proper length for these doors (30 each) and re-drill mount holes to align with my walls studs, install went okay. But it did take hours !
The results are what we wanted though and they work fine.
Installing these for a novice with few tools should be a pass. If your experienced like I am and do have the tools it still take some time, but will be worth it.
Overall quality of the rough wood package of lumber, (doors) a 7 out of 10, due to split ends, and toung and groove roughness, and absolutely no sanding being done, just saw cut. Hardware a 8 out of 10 due to the manufacturer thinking by drilling holes 16in apart they would end up where they need to be on your wall, but otherwise the hardware kit is complete.
Thats my take on the double sliding doors. Have a good day.
