This tub is a stunner! The shape is elegant and it is comfortable to sit in, especially since the solid surface warms to the water and helps keep it hot. I would have taken away one star, however, because the install was so problematic. We bought it to be the centerpiece of our bathroom remodel. Wayfair delivery was so quick, (it came within 10 days of order) that the tub had to wait in the garage for two months until the contractor was ready to start. Once we got it up to the second floor (needed to hire movers who used 4 guys to muscle the 280-lb up the stairs and upright through two too-narrow doors) our contractor found that the factory-installed drain had too much play in it and the seal might not hold. Since he was working through a hole in my kitchen ceiling to make the drain connection, he didn’t want to install and have it leak. We contacted Castello, (whose instructions were not for this tub and who were little help). We contacted Wayfair and even though I had bought the tub three months before, they helped with service and we were able to make it work. So I am adding back one star for Wayfair’s service. In the end the tub was a great purchase, is the stunning star of the remodel and well worth all the effort. I envision many relaxing baths ahead.
