It is heavy and beautiful, feels great underfoot, HOWEVER the sides on the front and back of the base dip in the middle. It is not a flat surface to tile to and this made it difficult to get a tight water seal with the shower door because of the height difference between the corners and the middle of the base. The drain cover also does not fit tight. It is meant to be removable so it isn’t caulked into place however because it is very loose fitting it constantly moves out of place.
