I specifically purchased the 'base only' option with no pre-drilled countertop, which gave me the perfect flexibility to fully customize the final look with the stone of my choice. The craftsmanship is outstanding, featuring solid teak wood construction. Teak is a phenomenal choice for high-moisture environments like bathrooms due to its natural water resistance. Out of the box, the wood did feel a tad dry to the touch, but a light application of premium orange oil beautifully restored its hydration and brought out the rich grain. The natural wood grain has a gorgeous, blended contrast that looks incredibly sophisticated paired against the elegant veining of my custom marble countertop. Functionally, the storage capacity is vast and exceptionally well laid out. However, future buyers should heed a crucial spatial warning regarding plumbing clearances. I originally intended this vanity for a different bathroom layout but miscalculated the precise alignment of the doors and drawers relative to the plumbing lines. If you plan to install trendy wall-mounted faucets, double-check your rough-in dimensions carefully, as the internal drawer structure and door clearances leave very tight tolerances. This is an incredibly robust, very heavy piece of furniture that requires multiple people to lift, but it creates a flawless, high-end anchor for a luxury master bath.
