[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I were so pleased to welcome the Country Living Kern River Fireplace Screen with Tool Set into our home for the holidays!! Although our 1910 Colonial isn’t equipped with an actual fireplace, we restored an antique mantle many years ago and now have it sitting where a wood stove once sat, with a pillar candle candelabra inside to give us the beautiful glow and warmth fireplaces bring to homes. This fireplace screen accents it beautifully, even adding a touch of the look of legitimacy to our faux-fireplace (at least until the candles are lit)!! We’ve had several different fireplace screens over the years, but none have come close to being as solid, heavy, rugged, and finely crafted as this!! Just feel the substantial weight of any one of the four essential fireplace tools that accompanies the screen (poker, tongs, shovel, and broom) and you’ll know that — unlike our fireplace — this screen and tool set are the real deal!! The fireplace screen comes equipped with hooks on each side to hold the tools, so there’s no need to leave them laying on the ground or leaning up against something. The hooks, like this entire set, are incredibly sturdy. The screen has two doors on the front that are held closed by my magnets, but easily pulled open to build or stoke your fire (or light your candles, as the case may be). The magnets help pull and then secure the doors back into place when you close them. The entire design is very convenient and well thought-out. Our Country Living fireplace screen and tool set remind me of the fireplace screen and tools that used to sit on the masonry stone hearth in front of the wood-burning fireplace and stone chimney that my grandfather, a master stonemason, crafted by hand in my childhood home — they’re the the type of products that were around back when things were built RIGHT, and made to LAST!! We will have our Country Living Kern River Fireplace Screen and Tool Set for many, many years to come — perhaps even long enough for us to get a real fireplace!! We couldn’t be more pleased with the tremendous quality, craftsmanship, and beauty of this product. I highly recommend it to everyone (regardless of whether you have a fireplace)!!

It provides protection from flames, it offers all the tools you might need to maintain your fireplace with convenient hooks to hang the tools that come with this fireplace screen. Assembly was very easy. It’s a very good heavy metal making me believe this thing will last forever. It’s absolutely beautiful. We just love the look of it. Definitely recommend this to anyone who has a fireplace.
