Drain Stopper RP5651SS

In my experience, Delta make quality products. I am glad Wayfair has such a good selection.

The "Brilliance Polished Brass" stopper is a thin piece of metal over a piece of plastic. I doubt it if it will last and feels really cheap. The stopper did not come with a metal gasket to go between the drain flange and the sink. I reused an old gasket along with plumbers putty. No instructions were included. The part I pulled out, which I thought was Delta, had a big UPC stamp, this part does not. Is it UPC certified? I removed the tailpiece and wrapped it with teflon tape because these always seem to leak. Back a long time ago, Delta meant reasonable quality and a reasonable price. I realize that things are much more expensive, but I feel the quality of Delta products has declined. I'll be looking at other brands in the future.
