I really enjoy our new DELTA faucet. It is just the right touch for our new bathroom. Bronze gives just the right color with a white tile bath.

When I purchased my house twenty years ago, it had Delta faucets throughout. It's time to remodel, so we decided to stick with Delta. Delta is still a better than average brand, but the newer designed faucets are nowhere near the quality of the older ones. This is just a sign of the times. The actual problem I am having is that I replaced the old shower valve with the new one that came with this faucet. The valve assembly sticks out almost a full inch further than the old one. This makes the center trim sleeve an inch too short. I hope delta has an answer to this other than tear the wall apart and recess/replumb the valve.

Looks good, easy to install. Build quality is better than other brands I looked at.

Easy to install. Sweat your copper fittings in small sections and then thread them onto the faucet section. Make final sweat joints after threaded to keep heat low. The directions are easy to understand.

Sadly now that the unit is installed I'm less than satisfied with the pressure output of the unit. The pressure is far less than the 80's generation tap set I replaced. Also the water creates much more noise than the old unit. With the unit set for max pressure there's not enough heat and if turning the control slightly left of 90* you get plenty of heat but no pressure. If Delta has a retrofit control unit to remove the heat protection function I trust this would a be the unit I was hoping to get.
