Foyer électrique mural Dimplex

I purchased this insert for a client who added a fireplace into their home when they recently renovated. I ordered the Dimplex brand because of its great reputation. The insert came quickly and was packaged well however each time my client turned it on it made a screeching sound as it burned. The sound was so distracting that they could not even utilize the fireplace. I contacted wayfair and they were great about replacing it. The second unit came and did the exact same thing so I ordered a third replacement and thankfully the third time was the charm and the unit did not make that horrendous sound. The unit is beautiful when it burns and the convenience of the remote control is something my client’s really love. The unit provides a beautiful burn and the logs within are very realistic looking. Had it not been for the screeching sound on two units I likely would’ve rated this a 5 star. If capable I will attach a video of the sound the unit made when burning on the two defective units. Overall the client is happy but not after a bit of a headache for them with unboxing and installing/uninstalling numerous times. If you are considering the unit as long as you don’t get a defective one I think you will be very pleased. Dimplex is a good and reliable brand.

We got the wrong fireplace but customer service got us a replacement right away. Shipping is very slow on this product.

Great flame. Realistic logs. Decent source of heat.
