Very happy with the natural look. Not too yellow...just perfect. Installation was smooth.

Obsessed is an understatement! I wanted a natural, real wood and solid mantel. I searched far and wide hoping to find THE one. When I came across this mantel, I was skeptical that the raw edges would be fake looking with vinyl. I was also skeptical that the natural color would have more of a brassy color. And then I got this mantel in the mail and wow! The color is spot on, the raw edges are just that raw, and the grains and knots are beautifully displayed. Install was really easy and took all of ten minutes. Overall, I am very pleased with this heavy duty, sturdy and beautiful mantel!

Ignore the work still in progress... but the mantel itself it quite nice. I have a small foyer and needed something not very deep - this fit that bill. Looks modern and was easy to paint and install. Only thing I will say is I had to shim the bracket, as the wall wasn't quite perfectly flat and the set screws wouldn't quite work, nor would it fit flat against the wall, but overall still an easy install and come out nicely.
