Tablette de cheminée cannelée

I was really excited about this mantle. It was affordable and just what I needed and on the website, the color looked like it would match perfectly. I especially love the fluted wood detail, I felt like that sets it apart from any other floating mantle I’d found. But when it arrived I was shocked to see how different the color actually was from the listing photos. I like it enough to try to tone down the color with a gel stain, because besides that it seems sturdy and again, I love the details on it. But if you’re ordering the Tan, be prepared for it to arrive looking for Tangerine

Overall, this is a nice shelf. I am using it as a console ledge near the front entry. The tone is a bit warmer than I would like and than what the pictures show. The way the instructions have you hang it leaves screw hole plugs on the top which ruins the look so instead, I hung the ledger board and then attached the shelf with construction adhesive and finish nails.

Es bellísimo perfect size

looks to be built nicely!

I really like the mantle but I’m not to crazy about the color it’s a little to yellow. My contractor already installed it so I may try to stain it darker.
