I received the doors and found that they were not prehung. I then realized that there were no mortises on the doors. The doors were heavy to the extreme, and the frame was made of flimsy material that made installation difficult. Customers should be advised about the weight of the doors. I had installed prehung french doors in the past, but I needed to hire a professional to do the installation. These doors are not DIY friendly.

I ordered the 48 inch one and 24 inch doors came but not the correct size frame. It was two feet too big and needed a handy man to cut it down to proper size. Also I feel that it was not clear to me that the doors do not come with the wood carved out to place the hinges on. My handyman needs a special tool to do this. The door are pretty but be careful the sizes are correct and be aware you’re going to have to carve out the door for the hinges. If you are handy, it is great, but pre-Hung sounds like all of that should have been done before hand.

Good quality, happy after much research in choosing this item. Looked at many doors! Also packaged well
