Most shelves I have seen lately have been a lot smaller and not able to hold what I wanted to display. When I saw this and read the measurements it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. When I received it I was pleasantly surprised that it was just as described. Besides being a great size the hardware it comes with to hang it is great. Having the wood bracket that you attach to the wall with the anchors is so much easier then having to level a heavy shelf. You just have to slide shelf on top of bracket and you are done. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

This 60 inch pine mantle shelf is definitely well made. It was also packaged very well with no damage at all. The mounting bar came with all of the hardware needed (other than a drill and driver) It has a nice wooden pattern on all facing sides and is hollow on the inside. The hollow area allowed me to put a power strip inside so I could power the video frames I put on the mantle shelf. This is exactly what we needed. I highly recommend this mantle shelf!

The color of this mantel is misleading a little. It ended up being really orange. We decided to white wash it which turned out great, however they used a lot of wood filler for the nails and the filler didn’t take to the white wash. It was easy to hang though and it is very sturdy.

Very nice quality. It was heavier looking than I expected and quite nice when it was up on the wall. I used it as a shelf in an entry area and it definitely makes a statement. It was not as easy to hang as portrayed......I found it difficult to make it sit nicely against the wall. That was the only reason it didn't get 5 stars!

Looks good above my fireplace.
