I purchased the black/brushed nickel version as that's the theme we have in our newly renovated bathroom (not yet completed, still have to install the backsplash, which will have to be much higher, as a result of this faucet). The problem is that the water flows straight down and even adjusting the flow strength didn't stop this faucet from MAJOR splash. At full flow, the spash is so much worse - splashes back against the wall and high up too, and all over the counter. It doesn't have an aerator in it, which means the water flow is already much stronger than a typical faucet. We turned the flow down very low, which mean the water comes out even shorter and closer to the rim of our vessel sink and that makes it even more difficult to wash your hands, since you have to put your hands right on the rim of the sink. No matter how we adjusted the flow, how close we moved the vessel sink to the faucet, it either splashes water everywhere outside the sink (if you have it at a decent enough flow to be able to wash your hands away from the rim of the sink) OR, you have to turn the flow so low to avoid the splash that your hands and the water coming out are right at the edge of the sink. We're returning it for a new and different faucet. This disappoints me, because it IS a gorgeous looking and very stylish faucet. The design of the water projection/flow is very poor though.

It complements my new rose gold and black sink so well! I’m impressed.
