These corbels work well for our mantel situation, although for my personal taste, I wish they were a bit less detailed. They are exactly as advertised. I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted in the right size, and these will work until I do. Our mantel needed to have a bit more “heft”, and this seemed like a good way to get that. They are super light-weight, obviously not made of real wood, but because they are painted, you can’t tell that. And with there being so light, they are pretty much trouble free to install. In fact, I have them mounted temporarily with Velcro dots just to be sure they were going to work!

Exactly what I wanted. Only wish there was a "hook" on the back to attach this to my wall. I needed to attach it with double-sided sticky tape. I hope the tape doesn't mar my wall when i need to remove it!
