I use these on my bird houses I make I am not good at cutting and folding the little cones like this I use the smaller cones to attack to my larger copper tops to create a carousel style roof

This is a beautiful piece, but almost too tiny for the banister rail to which it is to be attached. I first order this smallest option, but found it to be closer to a curtain rod finial than the banister rail for which it was to be used. I returned it & decided to go up two sizes (and that size was almost too big). What would be SUPER helpful is for the listing to give a base width measurement, not simply an overall width measurement.
