The medallion is a nice add-on to the light fixtures. I used Rust-Oleum Universal spray paint, very easy and very fast! You can create whatever look you want to make it right for the design in your home. The picture shows a similar medallion that we painted for the living room ceiling fan.

Awesome medallion! Better than the picture! Quite ornate and solid. I had my contractor cut a whole in it to put a chandelier through it.
