This patio lock is made well. I wish I could install it, but my new apartment complex will not allow me to drill into the frame. I will be giving this to my sister to use on her patio door. I will say it is very well made. The locking peg is sturdy and long, so it will secure the door when I stalled. I really wish I could have installed it on my apartment door, because it would make me feel safer knowing the sliding door could not be easily opened. A great product.

This patio door keyed lock works very well. It is fairly easy to affix to the patio door. The materials used to manufacture this product appear to be of good quality. It took my husband approximately fifteen minutes to drill the holes needed to secure the lock. We currently have been using a metal pole placed in the door base to decrease the possibility of break in via the patio door. However, this lock will add extra protection, and therefore, greater peace of mind that our home is secure.

This lock will not work for my patio door. It would have been nice to have more information about it prior to ordering. Since it does not have great pictures I’ve included a few more. Product came fast but that’s about the only positive.

Perfect for our patio sliding glass door when we travel or are out for the evening. This lock gives us added protection and peace of mind that our home is secure especially when we are away. Even though we are in a gated community we still want to have peace of mind with the security in our home.

Not sure how well this product works. It is not compatible with my door system, so unfortunately I cannot use it. So to be fair, I gave it a middle of the road review. It seems to be quite sturdy and will get the job done if the door is the right type.
