This did the job. It was a little difficult to install but once we got it installed it worked perfectly and locked the cabinet just fine. This only works for cabinets that need to lock with a bar against a frame, the bar was slightly longer than the space so we needed to do some machining to get this to fit snugly and lock but it was just an ⅛” off.

Although this isnt the lock I thought it would be its still a good replacement if youve lost your keys and need to change the lock on your storage cabinets. I would still recommend this item. Its still made well and will serve its purpose.

I’m using the lock to repair an old desk I’ve had for years. I couldn’t find any locks this small and I happened upon this kit. I’m super excited as it looks to be the exact right side. I’m considering purchasing another one for a letter desk I have that I am refurbishing.

Had been looking for solution to lock side door on entertainment center from curious four year olds. One side has a similar lock - unfortunately its on the wrong side. This is the same kind of lock. Just waiting for my son to install it.
