[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dehumidifier does a good job of drying things out (being used in a small basement area). Wish the receptacle were a bit larger as you do have to pour out the condensate about every 6 hours when it is more humid

Smaller than our last machine but works nicely. My only recomendation would be a larger drain bucket Running a drain hose while easy but is still a pain. I only use a hose at night when no one will trip on it running across the basement floor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of the 22 pint units for separate very small insulated rooms, 140 sq. feet and 200 sq. feet. The a/c units were 8k and 10k btu and cooled so quickly that humidity remained when the unit shut off. The dehumidifiers quickly dropped the humidity into mid 50% range. I was somewhat surprised that the units created significant amounts of warm air, and were a little louder than I expected from reading the advertising literature. The only disappointment is a minor, but aggravating, issue. The maker warns against allowing kinks in the clear plastic drain hose, since it can stop drainage and result in the unit shutting off. But the hose is packaged so tightly I found it almost impossible to open the packaging kinks, even after softening them in hot water.

Got this a month ago and very pleased with it. Very happy since we hooked it up permanently rather than empty it 2 or 3 times a day.
