What I like about this new unit is the built in feature to pump uout the water in to a drain so I do not have to empty it out every other day. It has continuos pumping when the tank is full.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I bought another brand of dehumidifier from a big box store. They failed after 2 years almost like clockwork. Then I read a Consumer Reports-type article that rated Frigidaire dehumidifiers above the other brands. I bought one and it lasted for years (and is still working!). I have two separate basements, so when my last big box dehumidifier failed, I replaced it with this model, which has been redesigned since I bought the last one. I liked this new model so much, I bought another one two weeks later for my other basement, and I'll keep the old Frigidaire as a spare. This model is quiet, efficient and easy to program. I am a very happy customer.
