This grab bar is perfect for my basement bathroom that my 91 year old father uses. We just had our handyman install it and it’s sturdy and secure for him. He now feels safer taking his shower. It was longer than I anticipated and my handyman had to add additional blocks to the studs in order to install the bar. Luckily the backside of the shower is unfinished in the utility room so access was easy. The finish is beautiful and it was quite heavy, so I think it will hold up for quite some time. I highly recommend this grab bar.

Perfect, I cannot wait to get the bar installed. I will fit perfect in my bathtub. Grab bar is made of heavy material. My handyman is out of town, but when he returns, he will stall it. I like it and would be perfect to hold on to after a shower.
