I purchased this portable inverter generator several months ago and I'm very happy with it.

Great new product from Generac. We also have their other iQunit, iQ3500, which we use for camping and other needs but needed something with more functionality and ability to connect to our LP tank which this product solves our need. Super quiet, easy to start and move around with the added wheels vs the prior model.

Great little generator at $2000 less than the Honda equivalent!!!

Love the new generator, with an easy start electric starter. I went thru the process of adding the oil, etc. The generator arrived with a dead battery. I charged the battery , it started and ran quietly and efficently. l started the generator once a week just to keep ths system operational. My only problem is I need to charge the battery every time I go to start the generator. The battery does not hold a charge. The battery arrived needing a charge, and every time I go to start the generator I still need to charge the battery again.

I bought one of these generators for a backup for my Ryobi generator and it’s so frustrating!!!!!! It takes forever to get the thing started vs my 10+ year old Ryobi to start. I can start my old Ryobi with 3-5 pulls and it has well over 100 hours on it as it’s over 10 years old! But my generac is much harder to get started and it’s got maybe 10 hours of use on it! I wish I had bought 2 of the Ryobi generators at the same time!!! You say you’re one of the best out there but even Coleman is easier to get started than generacs! I would give it a lower rating but once you finally get it running it does its job. I don’t think I will ever buy another one again unless it’s the cheapest option in a pinch. Good job generic!!

Despite it saying it will power a single rv ac, NOPE‼️ At least not here in Moab Utah. Keeps throwing a engine code on the control panels. Unit stays running but doesn't generate any power. And it doesn't throw the units breakers. My 30yr old Makita 3500 watt powered it just fine, but, it was much louder and thought the quieter unit would do the trick...WRONG‼️

Once it’s all put together, it is easy to roll around. My dad has a very old generator and compared to that this generator is pretty quiet. It runs smoothly and doesn’t burn through fuel. The panel is easy to read in the instruction manual was helpful. This is a solid unit and I’d highly recommend it as it is easy to use as well.
