Didn't solve our problem but I dont think thats bc of the part

Replaced an older all brass cartridge with this one and it works very well.

These worked well temporarily as replacements, but they did not last long, maybe 3-4 months, we replaced 4 of them all at once, since we have 4 showers in the house that are all Hans Grohe. It seems the mineral deposits in our water keep getting inside and also clog the fine filter/screens. It is a poor design on Hans Grohe's valves and we will not be buying any more Hans Grohe products ever again, stick with Delta or Kohler!

The part was different from what is shown in the picture. The one sent is all plastic while what is fitted and what is shown in your picture is brass in the front and then plastic at the rear. What is worse is that (a) I am yet to receive an email with return shipping label and (b) I am going to be charged return shipping even though a wrong part was sent.

We were so thankful to locate this part that we needed for our shower. We appreciate the quick shipping. It worked out well for us and we were able to have hot water again in that shower. Plan to order another one to have an extra one on hand.
