I love my new brushed nickel set! Apologies for dings in paint and the old anchor sets you can see. I got the old hideous bronze bathroom set down and installed this new one all on my own! As a 58 year old woman not trained in home DIY, it was a victory, ha. We got a new shower installed with brushed nickel hardware, so I wanted to replace everything to match. If you are taking down an old set, getting the tiny hidden set screw out first is the hard part. You might need a different size Allen or hex wrench bit. I took a closeup pic of what it looks like in the old bronze towel rod to show other Wayfair customers. I also took photos as I was working so you can see what I replacing. Anyway, my husband found his Allen wrench set and we found one that fit. Back to me! I got the old stuff unattached. And I was able to use half of the old anchors for the new screws, rods, and hooks because I guess sets are standard. You can see where I need to spackle and do paint touch ups next. But I LOVE the new set so much! Now to replace the bronze handles on our bathroom cabinet and my sink faucet, and I will be done. If I can, you can do this! Order that new pretty towel rod set you want!
