These fans work great but the ice pack in the water tank is not that helpful on hot daysnights.

It's good as a fan. You can use the cooling option with just the ice pack and without the water which is great if you don't want the humidity but it doesn't make that much difference in the air it's blowing out. Overall I like it as a fan. The options in function are great and it it's fairly quiet even on the highest speed. It's also a nice pleasing sleek design as well that doesn't take up a lot of space. I think the evaporative cooler part of this is made for more dry hot climates though. If you're looking for something that's comparable to an AC this isn't it. Just a fan, but a nice one.

Now this is what I should've had at the beginning of summer! I am more then pleased with this; I'm not sweating! Ive got it in my living area - this concept of evaporated cooling fan will be all the rage. Firstly its not bulky . Secondly I can't hear it; the other my neighbor purchased sounds like a helicopter is landing. Lastly its sleek , skinny and oscillating too! Yep going to buy three more for my home. And I still won't pay the amount my neighbor did . And best honestly its using WAY less energy

This is a great portable AC which keeps his promise. I highly recommend!
